I think it accomplishes what it sets out to do. The thing about Sleepy Hollow that will, imo, allow it to do the full planned 7 years is that it is about solving actual plot mysteries one step at a time, rather than the evermore popular “escalation”.
Too many new shows simply spend their time amping up what made the first season popular, to the point of ridiculousness. Sleepy Hollow isn’t like that, we can see even after only a few episodes. Which is what probably contributed to the second season pickup already.
IDK if you've answered this before, but I was wondering what made you choose to make fuckyeahbitten instead of just posting here on your personal? I'm thinking about making a blog for a show I absolutely love, but I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons and thought I'd ask about your personal experience with it.
Well, I feel like every show/series/thing with any fans on here deserves a place they can all gather around. I had wanted to make a blog for the book series for years (And actually my original url was Bitten-y moreso even than it is now plus it was originally also created as a book blog!) but there just weren’t the numbers within the tumblr fanbase to merit it tbh. Now that a tv series is coming out I wanted to make sure there was a place where people could get news, graphics, the general fandom stuff. It’s more about creating a space for other fans, new and old, rather than for my posts in particular.
Teddy from InnerSpace hosts the Bitten panel at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto on August 25, 2013. Michael Xavier (Logan), Greg Bryk (Jeremy), Laura Vandervoort (Elena), Greyston Holt (Clayton), and Steve Lund (Nick) answer questions from a packed room full of fans.
(Part 2 of the ‘Bitten’ panel, includes exclusive trailer (1st time shown to the public) of the new show that will premiere in early 2014 on Space and SyFy)
When was it ever confirmed for SyFy? As of this weekend there was no news on this.
