Shoes and stockings assumed a greater prominence now that they were more visible. Not a huge comedy fan, but my fave funny movies are

Anchorman (A++)
Scary Movie
Clueless
Zoolander
Napoleon Dynamite

Most of the more light films I’ve seen are ones I watched as a kid at home so like Beverly Hills Cop and those sort of middle aged man marketed action comedy movies from the 80’s and early 90’s.
